The first step towards living a free and fulfilling life.

Yuki Laib, the founder of Kokage Therapy, specializes in helping individuals find peace of mind, resilience, and inner strength while freeing themselves from fear. Our program is designed for those who feel like traditional talk therapy isn't suitable due to their busy lives, and for those who need to make a change NOW. If you feel like you need help, but spending months in talk therapy seems like too much, EMDR Intensives may be right for you.

EMDR

EMDR Stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It focuses on accessing past events and memories that are disturbing and distressing, bringing these events to a healthy resolution. EMDR is not just for trauma, it is also used for any daily annoyance that causes stress.

Intensive Therapy

An intensive is a highly-concentrated therapy program that is condensed into a shorter time period than standard therapy. Rather than months of weekly one-hour sessions, the client is guided through the healing process through longer sessions over the course of several appointments. In research, EMDR has shown faster results where the sessions held in these studies lasted approximately 90 minutes. When provided in a more intensive form, EMDR allows relief more quickly than the standard weekly session models.
